I love having fresh flowers in the house, they bring me so much joy. I love watching them un-curl and spread their petals over their 3 weeks of display. I love all flowers from understated calming white bouquets to bright colourfully bouquets.

8 years ago in 2017 I came across the fantastic online letter box flower brand Bloom & Wild. I started using Bloom & Wild to send flowers to my friends and family, then I started buying them for myself to decorate my coffee and dining tables for when I was entertaining for dinners and lunches.

My Uncle sadly passed away suddenly and to show my lovely Auntie that our family were always thinking of her through the sadness that followed after his death, I arranged a year of flowers subscription for her from my family. My Auntie really felt comfort from the monthly deliveries of beautiful bouquets.

Then for my birthday my family asked me for present ideas, after I had a think I then asked for money to go towards my very own year subscription of flowers from Bloom & Wild and absolutely love it.

Receiving these beautiful bouquets and the joy they gave me has inspired me to write a honest review about the many ways I have used Bloom & Wild in my day to day life and why they are my (GO TO) brand for glorious gifts for my loved ones and my own self-care little treat to myself.

Who Are Bloom & Wild?

Bloom & Wild is a British brand online flower delivery company best known for pioneering "letterbox flowers," which are packaged to fit through standard UK letterboxes, making flower gifting more convenient and reliable.

The company was founded in 2013 by Aron Gelbard and Ben Stanway. Aron Gelbard serves as the CEO, and both founders aimed to modernise the flower delivery experience by allowing customers to order flowers via smartphone quickly and have them delivered directly from growers, rather than traditional florists.

Bloom & Wild has grown rapidly over the years, expanding across the UK and Europe, and has introduced various innovations in the online flower market, such as direct-from-grower supply and eco-friendly packaging. They also give they bouquets beautiful names such as The Suki, The Nell, The Dominique and The Jasmin.

Let's Talk About Bloom & Wild's Fresh Flowers

Bloom & Wild Offer 3 Main Categories Of Fresh Flowers

Letterbox Flowers

showing the bloom & wild letterbox flower box that fits through standard Uk letter boxes

Their letterbox-friendly bouquets are so unique and designed to fit through standard UK letterboxes for convenient delivery. Perfect for non-contact delivery and no need for the recipient to be at home to receive them.

They include a variety of arrangements such as seasonal flowers, classic and florist favourites. These bouquets often feature the most popular blooms like roses, lilies, alstroemeria, and other seasonal stems, curated for freshness and arrival sleeping and ready to bloom after delivery.

Hand Tied Doorstep Flowers

Their hand tied bouquets arrive already pre-arranged wrapped in florist brown paper and so convenience, your recipient just needs to cut half an inch off the bottom of the stems and pop them in water.

The hand tied boxed flowers do not fit through the letterbox so these are more of a door step delivery.

These bouquets are often slightly larger and more luxury than the letterbox friendly bouquets and also feature popular blooms like roses, lilies, alstroemeria, and other seasonal stems, curated for freshness and arranged to bloom after delivery.

Liberty Collection

The Liberty collection is a collaboration between Bloom & Wild and the well known Liberty London store that was established in 1875. Liberty London is iconic for their patterned fabrics and design.

Patterns designed in liberty's studio are then reimagine in flower form. These bouquets are designed with vibrant jewel toned blooms and are a really exciting statement piece.

These bouquets come wrapped in the Liberty's floral paper which is beautiful and gives an extra special feel to these bouquets. You can re-use the iconic paper in many ways, frame it as artwork or use as gift wrap for a friends present.

Even the Liberty gifts available to add to your bouquet from bloom and wild are boxed in the same Liberty floral design from chocolates to afternoon tea.

The 3 Most Popular Bouquets

Bloom & Wild’s most popular bouquets often include The Anna, The Katy, and The Hallie, each with its own distinct floral mix and style.

The Anna

The anna bouquet from bloom and wild also features the yellow confetti vase also by bloom and wild

This bouquet is known for its dreamy meadow flower feel, with pastel soft yellows, powder pinks and soft shades of lilacs. This bouquet has a fresh look, primarily featuring alstroemeria, fragrant stocks, and solidago (goldenrod).

It’s designed to be uplifting and is packaged as letterbox flowers that bloom beautifully over a few days, typically arriving in bud to ensure freshness.

The flowers arrive perfectly packaged in brown paper, all the flowers are in the bud stage and sleeping ready for you to trim the stems and pop them in water. Then over the next 24 to 48 hours they will wake up and start to come alive and bloom.

The Katy

The Katy are less widely published, but traditionally this has been one of Bloom & Wild's signature arrangements, often composed of cheerful mixed stems for a bright, lively appearance with soft yellow and pastel pinks.

The Katy is really textural with the furry pom pom's of the Craspedia and the traditional crimply texture of the English Carnations.

It would usually feature a selection of seasonal favourites, such as roses, lilies, or chrysanthemums, and sometimes includes green foliage.

Again these flowers arrive perfectly packaged in brown paper, all the flowers are in the bud stage and sleeping ready for you to trim the stems and pop them in water.

Then over the next 24 to 48 hours they will wake up and start to come awake and bloom.

The Hallie

Similarly, The Hallie is another customer favourite full of creamy soft whites, light peach and pops of vibrant lilac.

The Hallie often features a blend of fresh, vibrant flowers, with a balance of colours and textures designed for impact as they bloom in the recipient’s home. Common inclusions might be carnations, lisianthus, or other seasonal stems, paired with greenery for a lush look.

As always these flowers arrive perfectly packaged in brown paper, all the flowers are in the bud stage and sleeping ready for you to trim the stems and pop them in water. Then over the next 24 to 48 hours they will wake up and start to come awake and bloom.

My 3 Favourite Types Of Flowers From Bloom & Wild

Peonies

Peonies are my most favourite flowers of all time and have a wonderful fragrance. I chose 'Coral Charm' and soft frilly 'Duchesse de Nemours' and 'Shirley Temples' peonies for my wedding bouquet and displays.

I love them from their tightly bound buds to their big show stopper flower heads once they are fully uncurled. I also love the the way their colour changes as they mature, from dark pink to light and coral to peachy.

What makes Peonies even more special is their very short season. Peonies must be cherished as cut flowers because nature has kept their phase brief, normally early May into late June with some lighter pinks flowering early July.

I am thrilled to say that Bloom & Wild do mark the start of Peony Season with a nice big fan fair, with lots of awareness send straight into your email inbox to get you excited and ready. Above is Bloom & Wild's 'The Gigi' from spring 2025

Lilies

I love Lilies, they are really special and have a purity to them especially White Lilies.

Lilies are also known for they lovely fragrance and stunning display. Lilies are really structural either alone or in a mixed bouquet.

Sometimes you can come across double-flowering Lilies, these are quite rare and very beautiful. Not only do you get double flowers so more petals they are quite often pollen free too so 'no pollen mess', I do tend to cut the filaments and pollen out of my Lilies when they flower to stop the pollen dropping onto the petals or worse your furniture as the pollen can stain.

Above - is Bloom & Wild's 'The Marlene' August 2025 gorgeous bouquet. The Marlene is full of lovely pink double-flowering Lilies, pink Chrysanthemums and white Snapdragons.

Roses

Roses are known as the most romantic English flower, with over three hundred different species and colours. Roses are a favourite for the majority of us from dark reds to crisp whites, frilly, delicate to bold with even raspberry ripple effect.

I love the fragrance of Roses, with a unique aroma dedicated to each species. I grow many David Austin Roses in my garden as I enjoy them so much.

With delight Roses feature in so many of Bloom and Wild's bouquets as Roses are the most enjoyed flower of all.

Here are a few Bloom & Wild bouquets to look for if you too love Roses:

'The Roya' is beautiful with 3 different types of Roses with soft yellow, pink and orange Roses.

'The Alejo' has a really striking Autumn look with strong reds and orange Roses.

'The Romy' is a crisp white, soothing bouquet with white Roses, white Lisianthus and white Alstroemeria.

'The Helena' is a very warm and vibrate fuller bouquet with coral and pink Roses, Snapdragons, Alstroemeria and stunning orange sunflowers - just screams summer!

What Else do Bloom & Wild Offer?

Bloom & Wild don't only just offer fresh flowers, they also offer other products such as Died Flowers, Indoor Plants, Hampers and more.

Plants

The plants category includes carefully selected potted plants such as orchids, citrus trees (like orange trees), and seasonal favourites like the mini Christmas tree.

These plants come ready to display, often with simple care instructions, and serve as longer-lasting gifts with a home décor element.

Gifts

showing bloom & wild vases i have collected

Their gifts range from complementary items meant to accompany the flowers or plants, such as vases, chocolates, and truffles.

Some special collections combine flowers with exclusive luxury items, such as their Liberty collection which blends blooms with truffles and stylish greetings cards for a more upscale gifting experience.

Vases & Planters

I love vases and Planters so I often buy a Vase or Planter along side my flowers and plants, also sending a vase with a gorgeous bouquet to a friend is such a wonderful surprise for them, but also I great way to make sure your friend has enough vases especially if you know that many others will be sending her flowers too.

Above - is a photo of some of the vases I have collected from bloom & Wild over the years, the green jug vase and the yellow confetti vase.

Bloom & Wild even offer a letter box vase. This vase is foldable to fit into the letter box along with your chosen flowers and pops up to make a vase, which is made from silicone rubber and recycled plastic. The letter box vase and flowers was a perfect birthday present for my 14 year old niece, it was her first bunch of flowers so sending the with the foldable vase was great for her to display them in her bedroom with out the worry of a glass vase.

Below - is a photo of the gorgeous 'Summer Stripe Planter Pot in Blossom Pink' I purchased with my orchid recently I absolutely love it, with the quirky fun yellow around the rim.

Overall, the flower products are about fresh, beautifully arranged blooms, plant products offer living greenery and blooms with ongoing life, and gifts enhance the overall flower or plant gifting experience with thoughtful extras.

All products focus on convenient, sustainable delivery and thoughtful presentation.

The 3 Most Popular Plants & Trees

Bloom & Wild’s most popular plants include a variety of carefully selected options that make unique gifts and brighten up your home.

Among the favourites are Orchids, Orange (citrus) Trees, and the Mini Christmas Tree.

Orchids are favoured for their elegant, long-lasting blooms and minimal care requirements. Typically Bloom & Wild sent their Plants and Trees potted, so they arrive ready to display, with care instructions included.

When I saw the 'Peach Orchid' I just had to order it, as it looked the perfect shade to brighten up the corner of my kitchen island. When I purchased it I up graded on the pot as I could not resist the 'Summer Stripe Planter Pot in Blossom Pink'.

I am so glad I did as I love it so much. The Peach Orchid is such a lovely colour and pattern on the petals and has such a delicate beautiful scent as you walk past.

They made the perfect tabletops or coffee table decoration or like my sister if your loved one lives in a small flat with no garden or a perfect present for your work colleague to put on their desk.

My sister loved her's when it arrived and she proudly displayed it on my dining table over Christmas. Also these trees can even be planted out after the festive season, making them a sustainable option.

My sister passed her 'Mini Christmas Tree' onto my mother who then planted it in a big pot in her garden its the tree that keeps on giving.

I love that all the packaging is recyclable and love the bands ethos. Their company is part of B Corp which means they aren't only operating to make a profit but also working towards forward thinking when it comes to sustainability.
