Kit and Kin have built a reputation for providing ethical and effective products for families and their home cleaning products and their eco dishwasher tablets are no exception.
These tablets offer a plant based alternative to traditional harsh chemical cleaners designed to deliver a powerful clean while remaining kind to the planet and safe for your household.
I started a personal mission to reduce the amount of chemicals my family and I were exposed to in our home. This mission began when I started struggling with my hormones and peri-menopause. My main symptoms were, exhaustion, brain fog, hair loss, depression, aches and pains in my joints.
While reading that chemicals in everyday household products can interfere with hormone balances, plus the unpleasant smell most cleaning products which are so over powering and left my breathing laboured I dived into a mission to swop over to all non chemical products.
✨ At a Glance: Kit & Kin Dishwasher Tablets
- Who it is for: Eco conscious families and individuals seeking non toxic, plant based cleaning solutions that won't disrupt hormones or leave dangerous chemical residues on plates.
- The Experience: Incredibly easy to use. Just pop the dissolvable tablet into your dishwasher. It tackles tough grease and grime effectively without overpowering artificial smells.
- The Verdict: A slightly premium but highly effective eco friendly dishwasher tablet that delivers peace of mind, hormone friendly cleaning, and exceptional performance.
When I started researching non chemical and natural household products I came across a company called Kit & Kin and they sparked my interest.
While switching my household products to non chemical alternatives, I began to reflect on how important it is to consider what we use in our dishwashers. Any chemicals used to clean our cutlery, glasses, plates, and bowls can leave residues that we may ultimately ingest.
This review explores why Kit & Kin's dishwasher tablets have become a popular choice for those looking to transition to a more sustainable lifestyle without harsh chemicals and compromising on performance.

I have used them for all my kitchen cutlery, glass and utensil's and have no issues at all , only one exception, I hand wash my posh glasses which have a gold leaf design on them but I have always hand washed them even before swopping to Kit & Kin.

Overview

I love the Kit and Kin eco dishwasher tablets and find they clean just good as any other brand I have used in the past, I am also impressed with that fact that they offer an excellent balance of ethical manufacturing and practical performance.
By removing harsh chemicals and synthetic fragrances they provide a safer environment for families while the biodegradable wrappers and recyclable box cater to the eco conscious consumer.
While they are priced sightly higher than some supermarket brands the benefits of a non toxic plant powered clean, and the peace of mind for the safety of your children and animals make them 'I feel' a worthwhile investment for any sustainable non-toxic home.
As I mentioned at the beginning of this review, over the last year or so during my mission to cut down on the toxic chemicals found in my home. Toxic chemicals do not only effect our skin and lungs they can also interfere with our hormones and while I am now Peri-menopausal I wanted to eliminate these issues and this is when I found Kit & Kin and have never looked back.
