Packaging Design

The Papier 2026 advent calendar design is incredibly thought out. It is designed like a very sturdy desktop tidy chest with a top opening and two drawers. It reminds me of a jewellery box or a makeup organiser and even reminds me of a pirate's treasure chest.

The size is a large 39cm by 31cm, and the height is 14cm. The outer is burgundy/brown and blue in colour.

Each of the 24 boxes are individually designed and are absolutely stunning. A mixture of hand-drawn landscapes, chequer designs, pretty florals and gingham. In an array of gorgeous colours from mint, burgundy, red, pinks, greens and navy blue.

Top Compartment

The top of the chest opens up with a small gold stud and has burgundy ribbon box stays to hold the lid upright and to prevent the lid laying too far back, which is a great little detail.

In this top section of the chest, it displays 9 beautiful boxes numbered 1-9, all different shapes, sizes and styles.

In this top drawer section of the chest sits another 6 beautiful boxes numbered 10-15, again all different shapes, sizes and styles.
