While writing this review Tallow and Ash are in the infancy of their initiative business only launching in 2024. I am so glad I came across this fantastic company with an amazing ethos towards laundry and I love the fact that I am supporting their business from the early stages and I will definitely be using their products for many, many years to come as I venture into my personal 'mini mission' to cut down on the amount of chemicals in my day to day household products.
I am trying to limit mine and my family's exposure to harsh, dangerous and unnecessary chemicals while achieving this I am also being kinder to the planet.

I have fallen in love with Tallow and Ash laundry shampoo and conditioner as they offer a premium washing experience with their range of luxurious fragrances.
The products are designed to clean effectively without harmful chemicals while leaving clothes smelling delightful. Plus they have really lovely news like Date Night, Bahama Vibes and they even have one called Icing On The Cake
They also have slightly masculine scents perfect for everyone but especially for single men or households full of men, I feel this is very unique to Tallow and Ash. Check out the OUD and ODYSSEY scents.
My favourite Fragrances
AURORA - Lady Emma, Rose, Saffron, White Oud, Silver Iris, Crysal Ambers and Musk
Aurora is a luxury floral and feminine scent infused Lady Emma Rose and White Oud. I love roses and spring, blossom fresh fragrances so I was straight away drawn to this scent.
DATE NIGHT - Cheery Liqueur, Almond, Black Cherry, Turkish Rose, Sambac, Jasmine, Vanilla, Wood and Patchouli
Date Night is a rich, luxury cherry smell with rose and vanilla undertones. I absolutely love this scent and it has been a favourite of mine for a longest time.
DUVET DAY - Ozone, Lemon, Cassis, French Lavender, Wood and Musk
Duvet Day is infused with French Lavender essential oil, Musk, Lemon, and Cassis and is a gorgeous relaxing fresh bedding smell and I love using this for my bedcovers and sheets once a week. I discovered this scent after purchasing the Discovery Sample Bundle where you receive a sample of all the different scents they offer. This is a great way of finding your favourites.
OUD - Cardamon, Neroli, Violet, Amber, Cedarwood, Sandalwood and Patchouli
Oud has a slightly masculine scent due to the Cedarwood, sandalwood and Cardamom. My husband loves this scent so I use it to wash has running kit in, leaving them smelling lush.
Seasonal and limited Editions
Tallow and Ash are always evolving and developing new fragrances and this fragrance called Hopeless Romantic was launched February 2026 in time for Valentines Day.
Again this fragrance is very luxurious it includes - Mandarin, Bergamot, Muguet, Jasmine, Rose, Vetiver, Tonka and Vanilla. It was the Mandarin, Jasmine and Rose that persuaded me to try it and I am so glad I did, I love it.
Price and Benefits
A set of shampoo and conditioner ranges from £10-£13.99 and performs 26 washes. so costing you from £0.38 to £0.54 per wash. Which I think is reasonable.

I just love this brand so much. I love their style, their ethos and most of all I love the fact that they are chemical free and smell like perfumes and not like chemicals.
I am so glad I found this company when researching non-bio, non-chemical washing powder, Tallow and Ash have made the transition from your everyday boring laundry chores to now something I really look forward to. They have also made the transition from a house full of nasty chemicals to a now healthier calmer and less sensitive skin home.
It's worth noting that some customers have reported issues with delivery and customer service, while the products themselves seem to be well-received.
I have personally not had any issues at all with delivery. I have contacted customer services a few times with questions and they have answered me within two days.
Also as they are in the infancy of the business they are making changes to the design of the bottles after being very attentive to customer feedback regarding a little bit of leakage from the lid.
It really feels like a two way healthy relationship between company and consumer which I love. I believe this company is going to reach ultimate highs in the world of laundry.
