*REM Sleep - There are 2 main phases of sleep, REM - Rapid Eye Movement and NREM - Non-rapid Eye Movement. NREM has 3 stages that has different variations of muscle movements, brain wave patterns, dreaming, pulse, breathing and eye movements. Our bodies cycle through these stages 4-6 times in one night. REM Sleep is our deepest sleep stage when our pulse is faster and breathing faster.
Sound Sleep Cocoon 50ml Dispenser
The Sound Sleep Cocoon in the 50ml has a unique air pump dispenser with a twist locking system to keep the gel inside fresh and free from contamination. To unlock you twist the base of the pump (grey section) and the top of the pump (white section) in opposite directions and you will hear a click- See top right image above.
Then to dispense the cream you push down the top of the pump (white section) - see bottom left image above.
The cream will dispense out from the small rectangular grey hole - see bottom right image above.

How to use it
To get the most out of the "cocooning" effect, follow these steps:
- Dispense: After your evening double cleanse and toner, apply one to two pumps of the gel-cream onto your fingertips.
- Activate: Rub your hands together to warm the product and release the motion-activated essential oils.
- Inhale: Before applying, take a moment to cup your hands over your nose and breathe in deeply to benefit from the calming aromatherapy.
- Apply: Smooth the gel over your face, neck and chest in upward strokes.
- Leave: Allow the gel-cream to melt into the skin overnight. It can be used alone or layered over your favourite Dermalogica moisturiser if your skin is feeling particularly dry.
