2. The Fabric & Fit

When the temperature rises, synthetic fabrics are a nightmare. Thankfully, the Leah top is crafted from 100% pure linen. It is incredibly lightweight, breathable, and does a fantastic job of wicking away moisture to keep you cool. Yes, being pure linen means it will naturally crease slightly as you wear it, but that relaxed, slightly crinkled look is part of the effortless charm of summer linen! 

I love the coolness of this shirt on my skin, as I am peri-menopausal and can get a higher body temperature from time to time and this shirt feels really comfortable. I love it so much I purchased it in three colours.

In terms of fit, it is very true to size. It has a slightly relaxed, breezy cut through the body, meaning it doesn't cling to your tummy or feel restrictive on hot days.

While you can't go wrong with the crisp, classic White or Navy options with a lovely pair of jeans, and one of my personal favourites is the Bright Blue Variegated Stripe. It adds a gorgeous pop of colour that looks incredible when paired with white denim.

Styling this top is wonderfully easy. For a relaxed daytime look, I pair it with some comfortable denim shorts, tan leather sandals, and my cross-body bag. If I am heading out for dinner on a city break, it tucks beautifully into a flowing midi skirt or wide-leg linen trousers. It is the definition of a versatile wardrobe staple.

This shirt would even look fabulous in the office with a blazer.

When the weather starts to cool the white shade looks amazing with a pop of colour over as I have shown above by wear a coral winter coat over and some leopard print pumps.

Also a tiny but useful detail when styling this buttoned up shirt, open a few top buttons to reveal a little skin and a v-neck line, this hides and draws the eye away from a larger bust such as mine, this small detail really makes a difference to the look and gives it a more relaxed feel.
