In this review I will be sharing my experience with the Flex 5 in 1 Quooker tap, From preparation, installation and in use. Also I will give in detail, how to use it, my personal views and if I think the hype around it is justified.
Let's dive in...
The Quooker Flex 5 in 1 Tap

We chose to install the Quooker Flex Matte Black Tap with the Quooker Cube. This tap is a 5 in 1 tap.
It does normal hot and cold tap water, Boiling Water, and the CUBE gives you filtered chilled still water and filtered chilled sparkling water.
We chose to have this tap in the matte black to match our sink and other accessories around the kitchen like our lights and window frames.
The Flex Review

We chose the THE FLEX style tap as I love the pull out flexible hose that pops out to help rinse all around and right into the corners our large sink.
How to use
1. You push down on the small handle around the back of the head of the tap and it slides down and out.
2. Slide the hose out and then pull down and use to fill up your pots and pans or rinse around your skin when cleaning it.

3. Once you have finished with the flex hose slide the hose back up and it glades back and retracts into the groove.
Boiling Water Review

The boiling water is amazing for cooking vegetables/pasta, tea and coffees.
I use mine all the time for cooking pasta, making cups of tea and also cooking my veg for dinner.
I love the fact this boiling water is instant, there is now waiting for a kettle to boil and also declutters your work surfacers as there is no need for a kettle.
How to use

1. There is a knurled ring around the base of the Quooker tap, to turn on the boiling water you push down the knurled ring twice quickly then turn the ring anti-clockwise.
2. The LED red light will then come on and the boiling water will flow out.
*** Make sure the head of your tap is directed away from your arm when turning the boiling water on.

3. to turn off the boiling water turn the knurled ring around the base of the Quooker tap clockwise and this will stop the flow of boiling water.

The red LED light will come on when boiling water is in use and when the tank is heating up so this will happen after use and also several times throughout the day as the tank maintains its temperature.

Quooker PRO3 Boiling Water Tank and Filter

We installed the PRO3 boiling water tank providing you with 3 litres of boiling water, which is plenty for us but larger capacities are available for larger families or a family that likes to enjoy lots of cups of teas a day.
Quooker Cube Filtered Chilled Sparkling and Still Water Review

My husband and I drink a lot of bottled sparkling and still water and we like it chilled from the fridge but we hated all the plastic bottles we were buying of water from the supermarket. Plus the space these bottles of water were taking up in our fridge so adding the THE CUBE to make this tap a 5 in 1 tap giving us chilled Sparkling and Still water was a no brainer for us. Now we have filtered chilled Sparkling and Still water instantly from our tap.
How to use - Chilled Filtered Still Water
1. There is a knurled ring around the base of the Quooker tap, to turn on the chilled filtered still water you push down the knurled ring once, Then wait for 3 seconds and then turn the ring anti-clockwise.
2. The LED blue light will then come on and the still water will flow.

3. To turn off the flow of still water turn the knurled ring around the base of the Quooker tap clockwise and this will stop the flow.
Quooker Cube Filtered Chilled Sparkling Water Review

I can be quite fussy on what brand of sparkling water and Still water I like, as not all brands taste the same. I have found some brands can be slightly salty or taste slightly metal to me but I love the taste of the filtered and chilled sparkling and still water the quooker tap produces from the water that comes into our house.

Tip You can also use the sparkling water to make a sparkling fruit drink by added it to a fruit squash

You have to change the sparkling canisters when they run out. You notice the sparkle of the water reducing slowly and then it will spot flowing fizz and will be flat - this is the time to change your canister under the sink.
Cube Co2 Canisters - Chilled Sparkling Water

How to change the Cube Co2 Canisters - Chilled Sparkling Water

2. Un-twist the old canister from the connection. Replace the old canister with your new one by twisting/ screwing the canister up into the connection quickly. You will hear a bit of gas leak out while you attach it, this is normal but once fully screwed in place the gas will stop leaking.
3. Then pop your canister and connection back in place under the sink.
Normal hot and cold water

How to use - Normal hot
There is a lever on the side of your Flex Quooker tap
Push the lever down and away to release hot water
or
Push the lever up and away to release cold water.
The Whole Set Up

Be aware that you need a lot of space under your sink for the Co2 canister, Cube, Scale Control R and filter system to be stored.
Our kitchen fitters dropped the shelf lower and even cut a section out of the shelf to help with the storing the cube under the sink as it is 50cm tall.
Installation
The preparation was done by Thompson-Smith plumbing and heating.
We got our Quooker tap from Granite Transformations in Colchester as part of kitchen renovation.
