How I Found Kit & Kin

I started a personal mission to reduce the amount of chemicals my family and I were exposed to in our home. This mission began when I started struggling with my hormones and peri-menopause. My main symptoms were, exhaustion, brain fog, hair loss, depression, aches and pains in my joints and more sensitive and itchy skin.

While reading that chemicals in everyday household products can interfere with hormone balances and can cause sensitive skin, I dived into a mission to swop over to all non chemical products.

When I started researching non chemical and natural household products including what we wash our clothes with, I came across a company called Kit & Kin and they sparked my interest.

How To Use

kit and kin toilet roll in my bathroom

Using this product requires no adjustment to your standard bathroom habits, as the rolls are designed with a standard 50mm core that fits easily onto any traditional bathroom toilet roll holder or freestanding stand.

Simply pull and tear along the neatly perforated edges to use the desired number of sheets.

Once a roll is fully finished, the remaining cardboard inner core is fully biodegradable and compostable, or it can be placed directly into your household cardboard recycling bin along with the outer delivery box.

Top Tip

My top tip for a lovely smelling bathroom or downstairs closet is to drop a couple of drops of your favourite essential oil blend onto the inner cardboard roll of your toilet roll, not only will it fragrance your bathroom but each time the toilet roll is touch it will disperse a tiny hint of perfume.
