Firstly as a Skincare Expert and Facialist I know the great importance daylight protection is. Please note I called it daylight protection instead of sun protection, this is because many people just feel they need to wear SPF when the sun is shining or on a hot holiday abroad. The truth is daylight ages our skin, meaning we should all be wearing SPF30 or above everyday, all season and all year round. While on holiday or on a hot day where the sun's rays are strong you must re-apply sun protect every couple of hours to keep the right level of protection on consistent.
This review explores one of my top 5 favourite Dermalogica products, the amazing Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50, a professional grade moisturiser designed to target the signs of ageing while providing high-level daylight protection.
Finding a daily moisturiser that balances intensive hydration with high-factor sun protection can be a challenge. But Dermalogica has the answer, the Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 is a *broad spectrum* , medium weight emollient designed to simplify your morning routine. Part of the brand's AGE Smart® range, it aims to protect against the primary causes of skin ageing while improving the appearance of photo damaged skin.
*Broad spectrum - means that the sunscreen shields the skin from both UVA and UVB rays. UVA rays are proven to cause premature and accelerated ageing and deeper damage, while UVB is proven to burn the skin and cause cell damage. Both UVA and UVB can cause skin cancer. To protect your skin from cell damage, sun burn, ageing and skin cancer it is very important your SPF is Broad Spectrum, has the correct 'use by' date and is applied correctly.
